Everything you need to know before to buy a ticket for the Eiffel Tower !

The 4 kinds of tickets available for the Eiffel Tower are

1) Elevator to the 2^nd floor

2) Elevator to the summit

3) Stairs to Second Floor

4) Stairs to Second Floor + Elevator to the summit

The 3 ways of buying a tickets for the Eiffel Tower are :

1) go through a 3rd part (for instance Wheels and Ways) and buy a e-ticket for a dedicated day and entrance time

2) go directly to the Official Eiffel Tower website and buy a e-ticket for a dedicated day and entrance time

3) go to the Eiffel Tower the day you want to visit and buy a ticket at the ticket office for an immediate entrance

The 3 last things to know about Eiffel Tower tickets purchase:

1) The e-tickets are only the following : Elevator to the 2nd floor and Elevator to the summit

2) If you go to the Eiffel Tower esplanade for an entrance the same day, usually the 4 kinds of tickets are available, but it’s (obviously!) not sure and you have to make the queue to the ticket office.

3) Buying an E-ticket in advance enables you to skip the ticket office line (which is very useful) and to choose in advance your time entrance. BUT the E-Ticket will NEVER make you skip the security check line and the Elevator line. SUCH A “SKIP THE LINE TICKET” DOES NOT EXIST. DON’T BE FOOLED. IT’S USELESS TO PAY OVERPRICED “SKIP THE LINE” TICKETS WHICH ARE USUAL EIFFEL TOWER E-TICKET!
